関連するNotionページを抽出し、調査結果を統合し、明確な概要やレポート（引用とソースへのリンク付き）を公開します。

クイックスタート

  1. ターゲットを絞ったクエリを使用してNotion:notion-searchでソースを見つけます。ユーザーにスコープを確認してもらいます。
  2. Notion:notion-fetchでページを取得します。主要なセクションをメモし、引用（reference/citations.md）をキャプチャします。
  3. reference/format-selection-guide.mdを使用して、出力形式（概要、要約、比較、包括的なレポート）を選択します。
  4. 一致するテンプレート（クイック、要約、比較、包括的）を使用して、Notion:notion-create-pagesでNotionに下書きを作成します。
  5. ソースをリンクし、references/citationsセクションを追加します。新しい情報がNotion:notion-update-pageで到着したら更新します。

ワークフロー

0) Notion MCPが接続されていないためにMCP呼び出しが失敗する場合は、一時停止してセットアップします。

  1. Notion MCPを追加します。
    • codex mcp add notion --url https://mcp.notion.com/mcp
  2. リモートMCPクライアントを有効にします。
    • config.tomlで[features].rmcp_client = trueを設定またはcodex --enable rmcp_clientを実行します。
  3. OAuthでログインします。
    • codex mcp login notion

ログインが成功したら、ユーザーはcodexを再起動する必要があります。回答を終えて、再度試行するときにステップ1から続行できることを伝えてください。

1) ソースを収集する

  • まず検索（Notion:notion-search）します。クエリを絞り込み、複数の結果が表示された場合はユーザーに確認を求めます。
  • 関連するページ（Notion:notion-fetch）を取得し、事実、指標、主張、制約、日付をざっと確認します。
  • 後で引用するために、各ソースのURL/IDを追跡します。重要な事実については直接引用を優先します。

2) 形式を選択する

  • クイックな読み上げ → クイックな概要。
  • 単一トピックの深掘り → リサーチサマリー。
  • オプションのトレードオフ → 比較。
  • 深掘り / 実行準備完了 → 包括的なレポート。
  • それぞれを選択するタイミングについては、reference/format-selection-guide.mdを参照してください。

3) 統合する

  • 書き始める前にアウトラインを作成します。テーマ/質問ごとに調査結果をグループ化します。
  • ソースIDとともに証拠をメモします。ギャップまたは矛盾にフラグを立てます。
  • ユーザーの目標（決定、要約、計画、推奨事項）を念頭に置いてください。

4) ドキュメントを作成する

  • reference/の一致するテンプレート（概要、要約、比較、包括的）を選択し、それを調整します。
  • Notion:notion-create-pagesでページを作成します。タイトル、要約、主要な調査結果、裏付けとなる証拠、および関連する場合は推奨事項/次のステップを含めます。
  • インラインで引用を追加し、参考文献セクションを追加します。ソースページにリンクバックします。

5) 最終処理と引き渡し

  • ハイライト、リスク、未解決の質問を追加します。
  • ユーザーがフォローアップを必要とする場合は、ページにタスクまたはチェックリストを作成します。該当する場合は、タスクデータベースのエントリをリンクします。

Research & Documentation

Quick start

  1. Find sources with Notion:notion-search using targeted queries; confirm scope with the user.
  2. Fetch pages via Notion:notion-fetch; note key sections and capture citations (reference/citations.md).
  3. Choose output format (brief, summary, comparison, comprehensive report) using reference/format-selection-guide.md.
  4. Draft in Notion with Notion:notion-create-pages using the matching template (quick, summary, comparison, comprehensive).
  5. Link sources and add a references/citations section; update as new info arrives with Notion:notion-update-page.

Workflow

0) If any MCP call fails because Notion MCP is not connected, pause and set it up:

  1. Add the Notion MCP:
    • codex mcp add notion --url https://mcp.notion.com/mcp
  2. Enable remote MCP client:
    • Set [features].rmcp_client = true in config.toml or run codex --enable rmcp_client
  3. Log in with OAuth:
    • codex mcp login notion

After successful login, the user will have to restart codex. You should finish your answer and tell them so when they try again they can continue with Step 1.

1) Gather sources

  • Search first (Notion:notion-search); refine queries, and ask the user to confirm if multiple results appear.
  • Fetch relevant pages (Notion:notion-fetch), skim for facts, metrics, claims, constraints, and dates.
  • Track each source URL/ID for later citation; prefer direct quotes for critical facts.

2) Select the format

  • Quick readout → quick brief.
  • Single-topic dive → research summary.
  • Option tradeoffs → comparison.
  • Deep dive / exec-ready → comprehensive report.

3) Synthesize

  • Outline before writing; group findings by themes/questions.
  • Note evidence with source IDs; flag gaps or contradictions.
  • Keep user goal in view (decision, summary, plan, recommendation).

4) Create the doc

  • Pick the matching template in reference/ (brief, summary, comparison, comprehensive) and adapt it.
  • Create the page with Notion:notion-create-pages; include title, summary, key findings, supporting evidence, and recommendations/next steps when relevant.
  • Add citations inline and a references section; link back to source pages.

5) Finalize & handoff

  • Add highlights, risks, and open questions.
  • If the user needs follow-ups, create tasks or a checklist in the page; link any task database entries if applicable.
  • Share a short changelog or status using Notion:notion-update-page when updating.
